Camping, flying and chickens

Last week was so fun and exhausting at the same time! I am just now starting to feel like my sleep is caught up! Girls camp was a huge success! I had such a good time getting to know my girls (I was over the third year cabin).

Some fun highlights were:
*decorating the cabin with over 100 stars, netting and crepe paper.
*bringing a huge cooler full of soda, juice boxes, chips, treats and chocolate from Boise on Tuesday night and watching the girls go crazy over pixie sticks!
*Getting to know the girls and really care about them in just three days!
There's nothing like having teenage girls think you are "cool" Makes me feel young again!
For the fourth we had a family reunion in Melba and got to go on a plane ride! I was terrified, but it took my breath away to see the beauty all around! I loved it!
After the plane rides the boys got the chance to catch chickens. What luck! Three of them did! The only rule is if you catch one, you keep it. Luckily we have a friend with a chicken coop and she took them in.

The chicken champs!

That's all the update I can manage for now. I am looking forward to our trip to Montana next week and can't wait to take a picture of the mountains again. Beth

That's so funny...my girls go crazy over Pixie Sticks. They even found some that are as big as bamboo sticks. Very cool with the plane ride. It is so much different in a small plane but absolutely beautiful.
