I couldn't help but post this! I had such a great shopping trip! Albertson's sale this week is great! I spent a whole $34.52 for all of this stuff!!! (savings of 224.00!!) I also have a $1.15 discount on my gas. The average per item is .40 cents!!! I know it looks like a lot of junk food-fruit roll ups, fruit sancks, chex mix etc...But I am very creative with my food. Have you ever given a box of roll ups to a child for a birthday gift? It's better than a toy to them! (with 4 boys going to birthday parties all the time, this comes in handy!) Or have you ever had a bad day and your friend gives you a card with a warm delight attached? (that friend would be ME!) It really makes their day! And we are planning a HUGE trip this summer (more on that later) and having all those snack mixes will come in very handy. And what a treat for my boys to have some "fun" cereals instead of the normal ones. The money just comes out of my grocery budget (I spend 75.00 a week) I just couldn't resist such a great deal! What awesome deals! Don't feel bad about so much "junk" It is not like it is all getting eaten in one day. I love buying stuff ahead of time. Where are you going on your trip?
