Where did March go?

I have been crazy busy and this is the first day I've had in a while to sit and write. I wanted to write about so many things....first Happy birthday to my dear sister Anna. She is the greatest and I only wish she lived closer. I can't wait to see her again. I have had some very close friends move lately and just feel so alone now. It is hard for me to make friends-I know it sounds crazy, but it's hard for me to find someone to connect with and enjoy being around without feeling completely drained. Christine, Hollie, Deb, Rebecca...thanks for your awesome friendships! Now move back to Boise PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, the boys had thier first eye exam and all of them have no problems..yeah! And they were all so good and well behaved. I was so proud of them because I saw the worried looks on the faces of the staff when I walked in with five children! I had many compliments about thier behavior and it was great. It was a very good experience and I highly recommend Vision One to anyone who needs eye care. I haven't written about the walking group yet. I was asked to be in charge of a walking group at church. I have been wanting to exercise, and this has been a great chance to do so! We meet on Wed. & Fri. and walk in the gym for about an hour. Our first one was on Feb 29th and I only walked about 1300 steps. Today I walked/ran over 6000!! I have seen and felt a big difference! I have also gone extra days and started using our health rider at home on the other days. I love exercising now and just can't get enough of it! I want to do more running than walking and am slowly building up to that. I just want to fit into my jeans again! Tayla had yet another ear infection which I was able to catch early enough so she didn't go on a complete nursing strike this time. It came on about 3 days after her 10 day antibiotics were done, and I think it just didn't go away. I can tell she's sick when she won't smile and decided to take her in and get checked. I'm so glad I did or we would have had a very long weekend!!!! I spent all last week making cheesecakes for our Relief Society birthday dinner. I made six and they were so pretty and very yummy! I took a picture which I will post soon. It was so much work, but worth it! This doesn't even begin to sum up all the life that's been going on lately, but with Easter and spring break ahead I may not be able to post for another week! Beth

I totally need to get back to the walking group!!! I feel so bad - between family in town and dr. appts., with a couple "mac'n'cheese!!!" type breakfast demands, I haven't made it since the first day! What a bum, eh? Anyway, I'm resolving to fix that :-). And congrats on starting to run, too!!! That is wonderful! (And very inspiring!!!)

Sounds like such a great eye dr. visit, too - what wonderful kiddos :-).

And oh my goodness, woman - between you and Debbie, I think we've got all things cheesecake very well covered!!! The one I had last night (and from the response, all the other ones, too!) was HEAVENLY - I'd ask for the recipe(s), but I kinda burn cheesecake, LOL. Like, every time.

No worries about the bad baby news - it's life, and since it's the second bad-news event in a row, it's more surprising, but not so tough to work through, since I've already done it once...

And I'm so glad you were able to catch Tayla's ear infection early!!! Poor kiddo (and mommy)!!! Hope it clears up soon!!!

I miss your cheesecakes!!! I'd move back in a heartbeat if I could but I'm kinda stuck here for a while. Awesome job on the exercising. There's a point where if you can get past the "oh, do I have to" phase then it becomes almost like a drug and if you miss a day you can definitely feel the difference. Have fun with Easter this weekend!!!
