Isn't She Cute!?

Isn't Tayla so sweet? This is her at 2 months old. She's so happy and I love her smiles. We are all healthy and doing good. Logan was sick a few days last week, but none of the other boys got it so I'm glad. I keep feeling colds coming on, but I swear by Airborne and have not gotten a cold yet! It's awesome. I've been busy getting ready for Thanksgiving and made 2 pumpkin pies a pecan pie an apple pie and a banana cream pie today. It was fun and I love making pies! Tomorrow I will got a lot done because Kirk took work off-yeah!! It's nice to have him home, he took Friday off too so I am going shopping. Yes I am one of those crazy shoppers up at 4 in the morning. I can get all my Christmas shopping done in one morning, so it's worth it for me. I can hit about 3-4 stores in an hour. The secret is to know exactly what you want and not linger or you will get stuck in lines. Another secret is to ditch the carts because you will get stuck in the isles-just carry everything you can. I can't believe the mall will be open at 1:00 am though. It's tempting, but I will probably steer clear of that area all together. One of my favorite scrapbook stores has an awesome sale each year 40% off EVERYTHING in the store. They open at 6:00-it's called World Class Scrappers if anyone is interested (they are off of Roosevelt before Franklin) but again you have to know just what you want or you are in line for a LONG time. Anyway, it's fun for me to hit all the stores I can.
Preston's date turned out pretty fun. We woke up Saturday to rain, but he wanted to go the the train depot (one of our favorite places to explore) so we walked around there for about a half hour. It was pretty refreshing and not too rainy. Then we went to play at Ann Morrison park and he was the only person on the playground so he had a blast. We were all wet by the end from the slides and swings, but it was fun. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Beth
