The sun will come out tomorrow?

For all you 3 or 4 fans out there, sorry I haven't written in a while! I have always been proud of my sunny outlook on life, but lately it seems like so many bad things are happening and I didn't want to sound negative and whiny! I am always thankful for the bad days because it makes me appreciate the good ones even more. (and I hope they are just around the corner!) I do have to whine about one thing because it really hurts and I just want a little sympathy. Last night I was helping the boys clean the basement and was moving the chair to vaccuum under it. I didn't see the one inch long little gear thing until AFTER I stepped on it, and felt it go all the way into the right front part of my foot. The boys have all kinds of wierd parts from things they have taken apart, I don't even know what to call this! I have stepped on a nail before and this hurt 10 times more. It was dull and metal and just writing about it hurts! Anyway, the boys came to my rescue with a band-aid, ice and a stool to elevate my foot. I now have a wierd limp because it hurts to put pressure on it and It hurt all night. My foot went numb after it happened. Hopefully it will heal quickly. There, I'm done whining. Things will just have to get better! Tomorrow should be fun because I get to be helper in Pre-school and Valentines day is always so exciting for the kids. I'm going to make red heart shaped jigglers for the snack. I am also going to make a special dinner for the 5 loves of my life: steak, baked potatoes and cheesecake with strawberries. Their favorites! I try to make Valentines day about serving others so I don't feel selfish and ungrateful. It's a lot funner that way and I don't expect anything from anyone. It's my chance to show others how much I love them. (Besides, my birthday and anniversary are just around the corner and I get spoiled enough on those days!)
