Thinking about life

My good friend Hollie was driving home from a visit to her family in New Mexico and was rear ended in a snowy Utah canyon by a semi-truck. She has a new 6 week old baby, a 2 year old and a 3 year old. Both the boys have head injuries, and a possible broken neck, and were life flighted to SLC. Hollie has a concusion and amnesia. The baby wasn't hurt. Hollie is in Price and her husband flew down last night to SLC to be with the boys. I think of Hollie and how scary it must be. I feel so helpless, but I believe in the power of prayer, so I've been praying and all the members in my ward have been praying. It's always a time of reflection for me when bad things happen to the people I am close to. I always think, "what if that was me? Life can change so suddenly!" I know Heavenly Father has a plan for us all, and bad things have to happen so we can learn and grow and experience joy as well, but that doesn't mean it's easy. I hope to hear some news today on their condition. Please pray for their family.
Beth
