Tayla's class went on a really fun field trip in November to the Foothills Learning Center. They had a lesson on birds and what they eat with different kinds of beaks. I even learned a lot! Then they made birds with paper bags and construction paper. Tayla's new favorite color is orange, so it's no surprise what her bird looked like!
I loved all the cool art and statues they have everywhere!
After the inside presentation I took Tayla on the storybook trail. I would highly recommend it! We walked it three times! There is a story you read as you walk along the trail. They change the book each month, so you could visit every month and it's something new. I think it would also be fun to see each month how the land and flowers change and grow. We had a lot of leaves and plants getting ready for the winter.
We had a really fun time there and plan on visiting again soon!!
