Summer Snack Stock Up!

I haven't blogged about deals lately, but I have still been going strong with coupons and finding deals. I wanted to show what I got this morning in one stop at Albertsons (with two kids) doing two transactions (one right after another). It isn't hard to use coupons, it isn't all consuming, it's just simple logic to me not to pay full price for anything! I have been focused on summer snacks and lunches since having three extra boys home all day makes a huge dent in our food supply!

With double coupons I got all this for $9.33. I saved $39.78!!!



It wasn't hard, it wasn't stressful, it was just plain fun!!! I LOVE my Albertsons (Orchard & Overland). The checkers are all very coupon savy, and they praise me for my thrifty deals. I have loved these double coupons! My two favorite deals: A free pack of "good" hot dogs for free (4.99) and I used a double coupon for the box of Ritz making them .89 cents and had another coupon for a free box of Wheat Thins when you buy a box of Ritz, making two boxes of crackers that would have cost all most $6.00, .45 cents each. The capri-suns were free, the juice boxes were free and the jello was .12 cents a box. I just wanted to show you how easy it really is!

I'm still perplexed at how people do this? I use my manufacturer coupons but we don't get the Sunday paper so maybe that would help out. Super job on the deals!

I gave Tim a tiny taste of coupons this week. Since I still wasn't up to grocery shopping and it's his turn to cook this week, I had him help make the menu, build the shopping list and then handed him some coupons to use at the store. He didn't get the super deal, but at least he knows what they are now...lol.
