We are on day 3 of Tayla's nursing strike. I've been through many of these with her (the first when she was only 1 week old) but I can still never be used to them. It is the worst when your baby won't nurse and only screams at the sight of you when you try. In the past it has been ear infections but I took her in and she is fine, just the darn stuffy nose...oh and two new teeth on top. She now has six teeth! I know she will eventually nurse when she feels better, and I will be glad to put my pump away and have her nursing again. It is very draining physically and emotionally. I love nursing, anyone who knows me knows this. I have nursed all my boys successfully and three of them well past a year. I know it's not for everyone, and some just can't nurse, but for me it's so important. I hope this ends soon!
