Just an Update!
Well, it's been a busy week so far! Between Dr. appointments, swimming lessons, scouts, playdates and just plain being tired the summer is flying by. I'm more than happy, but It makes me think of all the work I need to be doing to get ready for this baby! I am determined to paint the nursery but am not sure how to go about doing this because I really don't want to do it myself. Kirk isn't much help in this department, but I will find a way. I finished the project I was doing. I recovered the rocking chair cushions. This sounds simple, but it was quite an accomplishment buying the material, buttons and ribbons and then finding time to sew it and add the details. It looks very cute and I am happy with the outcome. If I could get the picture to post I would show you all, but you'll just have to come see it. Or come see the nursery when it is done, that would be even better! I have been looking at lots of ideas and found some really cute rooms I like. One has a tree painted in the corner and it is very cute. We'll see how much I can get done! Dallin is still resisting moving to another room, so I am just going to keep him in there for now. There's room for his bed and the crib, so it should fit nicely. It is a hard thing to go from the "baby" to the big boy. I haven't pushed potty training for this reason. I think when the baby comes he will need an adjustment period, so we won't concentrate on training until after. Boys are pretty easy to train when they are three anyway, and I like easy! Our art class is fun as well and we painted our sculptures this week. I am not so good at making up my own designs, but if I have a picture to look at I do pretty well. I sculpted a bird from looking at a picture and everyone in class thought it was really good. Next week should be fun with the pinewood derby on Tuesday. Logan is so excited to race his car! And we will be packing for a week long vacation to visit family and friends in Utah. We are very excited to go and will probably leave on Saturday and return on Sunday the next week. Well, I better get ready for swimming lessons! Beth

You've been a busy girl! I can't wait to see the finished nursery! I'll come help you paint if Kirk won't! :)
Carson's already resisting the idea of moving rooms too. He told me he is not moving to the bunk bed with Garrett, the crib is HIS not the baby's! This is going to be fun! :)
